LCO Diabetes prevention and education program Mission is: to provide the community with the highest quality diabetes education to patients and their families, with emphasis on responsible self mamagement and routine professional care.
Our Diabetes Prevention and Education Program includes Health Care Providers, Nurses, Pharmacists, Dieticians, Mental Health Couselors, Dental Health Providers.
We are part of the LCO Health Center. Our staff is trained in diabetes Managment and dedicated to providing on-going support to you. We are an AADE Accredited program.

ProHealth Care has long been committed to excellence in diabetes care. Our nationally recognized Diabetes Center and Foot Care Clinic offers comprehensive, high quality care and treatment for patients with diabetes.

Our certified diabetes educators, both registered nurses and dietitians as well as nurse practitioners, will help you and your family learn about controlling your diabetes by eating healthy, exercising and taking your medicines the right way.

We provide this education and support through our outpatient services at Waukesha Memorial and Oconomowoc Memorial Hospitals and ProHealth Care Medical Associates - Stone Ridge. In addition, if you ever need to be in the hospital, diabetes services are offered through our inpatient services.

*Diabetes counseling pre, during and post pregnancy

Inpatient Services
*Management of your blood glucose level is important, perhaps more important when you are in he hospital. Recent studies have shown that keeping blood glucose levels near normal while hospitalized can help prevent infections and other complications.

Our experienced staff understands your special needs. Whether you are in Waukesha Memorial or Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, We will work with your doctors and nurses to give you the highest quality care for your diabetes and other conditions. This includes managing your blood glucose levels, providing for your nutritional needs and teaching you basic skills to manage your diabetes at home until you can participate in outpatient education classes and counseling for more advanced instructions.

Foot Care Clinic
Keeping your feet and skin healthy is key to preventing serious complications. Our Foot Care Clinic offers expert clinicians and specialized services that include:
- Comprehensive annual foot exams for people with diabetes.
- Periodic foot care, including foot inspection, nail trimming, corn and callus filing for people with or without diabetes
