Adult Day Programs provides programs which focus on the individual needs of the disabled and elderly adults. The program also offers needed respite to individuals and family members who have the responsibility of providing care. Transportation is included in the program. Licensed by the New Jersey State Department of Health and Senior Services, and approved by Medicaid, the Adult Day Programs provide preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services under the direct supervision of health care professionals. There are two sites: Fenwick Plaza at Broadway and Walnut Streets in Salem, New Jersey, and the Fairton site is located at 23 North England Cross Road in Fairton , New Jersey. [NJ82978]

Rehabilitation services are provided by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services' Office for the Blind and Visually Impaired (OBVI) to help individuals who are blind or visually impaired to achieve their own goals of independent living.

At no charge for Wisconsin residents, OBVI staff visit individuals in their homes, conduct group trainings, and teach techniques and technologies for use in daily living (home management, personal care, Orientation & Mobility, and communications). These specialized skills allow individuals to adapt and adjust to vision loss, enabling them to live as independently as possible.
