Georgia Diabetes Coalition was formed as the advisory arm of the Georgia Diabetes Prevention and Control Program (DPCP) in 2003. On June 22, 1005, the GDC became a 501c3 non profit organization. This coalition of well established diabetes prevention organizations has bonded together to slow the progression of diabetes in Georgia.

The Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired, located in Madison, WI, is a private, not-for-profit community-based organization.
